Boston Street Lab, nonprofit producer of the Chinatown Storefront Library, is pleased to announce that real estate firm Archstone, developer and owner of Archstone Boston Common apartments and the recently opened Archstone Avenir apartments in Bullfinch Triangle, has generously donated temporary use of 3,000 square feet of prime street-level commercial space for a three-month installation of the Storefront Library.
The space is at 640 Washington Street, between Essex and Beach Streets. Most recently, this space has served as the hiring center for the W Hotel & Residences.
We’ll have access to the space starting October 1, and expect to open the Storefront Library to the public October 15 with a ceremony for the community. More details coming soon.
