Today was a long and fulfilling day for Boston Street Lab. Watch our own progress in the photo/video slideshow below. Thanks to Boston Street Lab’s Maggie Husak, who helped assemble the floor and then took the stage as a dancer. Thanks to Eleanor and Malcolm Davol who slung panels, tested for level, and racked up carts on their school vacation. My team is outstanding—from the moment my truck landed at the loading dock, we clocked 2 hours to convert a raw space to a dance studio.

An update from Jody Weber of Weber Dance on tomorrow’s rehearsal plan (4/23):
Our day will begin with Jon sharing stories with the dancers that we hope to incorporate into the piece. Then we will experiment with the first two sections. If the process is flowing well, we will then start to discuss what the segue will be between the storytelling and the dancing and consider how that piece will be constructed.
