Films at the Gate: 2011 film schedule is here!

This is our sixth year on the lot, and Films at the Gate curator Jean Lukitsh has put together our best series yet.  Join us Thursday 8/25/11 through Sunday 8/28/11. We’ll be showing:

• WAY OF THE DRAGON, the first (and only) film directed by Bruce Lee,
• GALLANTS, an indie film shot in 18 days with a cast of kung fu actors from the 70s, and surprise hit in Hong Kong last year,
• THE YOUNG MASTER, the first film directed by Jackie Chan,
• THE KID, starring Bruce Lee as a young child, and
• A MOMENT IN TIME , a documentary about the experience of the Chinese in San Francisco’s Chinatown, told through the films they loved.
